Aluminum Dampers
The Model AFD20, supreme in construction and performance, is a damper that will out-live most of its applications.
Often specified when the requirements for service and reliability are most critical.
This model is licensed to bear the AMCA seal.
Models PBDAF-206 & OBDAF-207 utilize the same blade and frame components as the AFD20.
These models can also incorporate blade sizes of 4" and 5".
The blade-edge seals and jamb seals are extruded silicone rubber.
Models PBDPL-506 & OBDPL-507 are extruded aluminum dampers that utilize a single-web blade.
They too, have silicone rubber seals.
Model SB28 is designed to provide a single-blade within a low-profile frame.
Primarily used when required height is below the minimum height of other models.
Steel Dampers
Model 1770 is a popular low-cost, yet efficient damper,
in use throughout the world, having been first introduced in 1974.
Model 395 utilizes a more sophisticated linkage system
that allows a factory-fitted sealing for XL leakage performance. Model 182
is a control damper produced in either type 304 or 316 stainless steel, with or without seals.
Round Dampers
Models 70 (galvanized steel), 75 (aluminum),
and 80 (stainless steel) are offered as control dampers for round ducts.
The standard units slip inside the duct at each end, but flanges can be added, also.
They employ extended shafts for actuation. Brackets can be provided allowing a mounting surface for actuators.
Round backdraft dampers can be found in the backdraft section.
Model 200VCRD is offered for balancing applications and includes a manual locking quadrant.
Industrial Dampers
Arrow United supplies to the industrial market a full range of dampers including such materials as galvanized
steel, hot rolled steel and stainless steel. Special actuators and coatings can also be supplied on these dampers.
Backdraft Dampers
Produced in aluminum, galvanized steel, or stainless steel, these dampers are designed to allow air-flow in one direction only.
They are often counter-balanced to open at a pre-set pressure differential and close by gravity.
Multizone Dampers
A full variety of two and three deck multi-zone dampers is offered.
Two-deck models include aluminum, aluminum airfoil, and galvanized steel Models 354 and 256.
The Model 256 differs from the others in that it does not allow hot-deck air and cold-deck air to mix (intended for VAV applications).
Three-deck models include the 356 series.
A 10" deep frame (Model 356-10) allows segments up to 6". A 12" deep frame (Model 356-12) allows segments up to 8".
These models provide single-actuator control per zone. Arrow Model 356-12 is a single-tier multi-zone damper.
It utilizes up to 6" segments, and requires only one actuator per zone.
